fabricator welder
Responsibility
- operate welding equipment and power tools to fabricate metal components according to specifications
- perform stick welding and other welding techniques to assemble parts and structures
- read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand project requirements
- use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing metal materials
- conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards
- maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations
- collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity
Requirements
- proven experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong understanding of mechanical principles
- proficiency in stick welding; additional experience with MIG or TIG welding is advantageous
- familiarity with sheet metal fabrication techniques is preferred
- strong mathematical skills for precise measurements and calculations
- ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing project requirements
