- we are seeking a professional, reliable, and proactive Security Officer to join our team on a major construction site
- this role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment
- access Control: Manage entry and exit to the site, ensuring only authorized personnel and vehicles are granted access
- site Patrols: Conduct regular internal and external patrols to monitor site security, check for hazards, and deter unauthorized access
- incident Reporting: Record and report any suspicious activities, security breaches, or health and safety concerns promptly and accurately
- communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with site management, contractors, and other security personnel to ensure smooth operations
- emergency Response: React swiftly and professionally to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, ensuring appropriate actions are taken
- documentation: Complete daily logs, incident reports, and any other relevant documentation clearly and accurately
Requirements
- valid SIA License
- strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with a range of people, including site personnel and visitors
- previous experience in construction site security is preferred but not essential
- ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- high level of reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail
- flexibility to work the 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, including weekends and nights
