Responsibility

  • conduct MOT tests on vehicles in compliance with DVSA regulations
  • identify and report any faults or issues found during testing
  • use power tools and hand tools effectively for vehicle inspections
  • perform heavy lifting as required during vehicle maintenance
  • maintain accurate records of test results and vehicle information

Requirements

  • previous experience as an MOT Tester or relevant automotive technician role
  • strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
  • ability to use power tools and hand tools proficiently
  • capability to lift heavy objects safely
  • DVSA certification is desirable but not essential
