Requirements
- previous retail experience, preferably in home improvement, tiling, or a related field
- strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- ability to lift and move boxes of tiles
- knowledge of tiles, flooring materials, and home improvement products is a plus
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Responsibility
- greet and engage customers in a friendly, professional manner
- assist with receiving and checking incoming inventory shipments
- assist with the preparation and execution of in-store promotions or sales events
- organize and maintain the sales floor to ensure products are properly displayed and accessible
- handle cash register transactions, process payments, and issue receipts
- participate in training sessions and meetings to improve product knowledge and sales techniques
- ensure that all store policies and procedures are followed, including safety protocols and store opening/closing procedures
- monitor stock levels and assist with stock replenishment
