technical engineer
Responsibility
- verifying and investigating customer quality and technical issues
- liaising with customers on engineering, quality and technical matters
- providing engineering and quality input to the sales function
- creating, verifying and distributing QA documentation collating technical delivery documentation, managing the filing structure in MS explorer and issuing the documentation to customers
- providing engineering and quality support to our China and Vietnam offices both remotely and in person once suitable experience has been gained
Requirements
- experience in an engineering component / product manufacturing environment
- the ability to understand technical drawings, standards, specifications and engineering terminology
- familiarity with international quality standards such as ISO 9001, TS16149 etc
- knowledge of manufacturing process including machining, casting, fabrication, injection mould etc
- good attention detail and organisational skills
