- currently working with a Secondary School who are seeking a FT School Caretaker or Facility's Manager to join the them
- caretaker Tasks
- this is an exciting opportunity to join our expanding site team
- currently working with a Secondary School who are seeking a FT School Caretaker/Facility's Manager to join the them
- currently working with numerous Secondary Schools who are seeking FT & PT School Caretakers to join the them
- the School Caretaker will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and operation of the buildings to which they are assigned
- carry out inspections of the school buildings and environment
- where possible in the time available, remedy any minor or intermediate defects and log on the Every reporting system
Requirements
- relevant NVQs/C&G/BALI in Horticulture and Landscaping
- previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
- chainsaw trained
- knowledge of basic medical procedures and techniques
- ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
- ideally, a Health and Safety Certificate, relevant City and Guild qualification, GNVQ or Trade qualification
- PA1/PA6 Qualified
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
