Responsibility
to assist the Chief Finance Officer in the preparation of financial documentation and reports
preparation towards statutory financial year-end accounts
support with the compliance with the Trust’s financial responsibilities as defined in the Education Funding Agency’s Academies Trust handbook
to prepare the annual revenue plan for the central team
provide budget holders with accurate financial data on an ad hoc basis
ensure the efficient and cost-effective compliant procurement of goods and services that support our educational and operational objectives
leading procurement and contracting activity across the institution covering IT, Digital, Maintenance and Facilities and other related activity
financial reviews across the Trust and externally, e.g. benchmarking of schools expenditure To support the Chief Finance Officer with audit preparation and response activities
Requirements
strong negotiation skills to secure favourable terms with suppliers
excellent organisational and analytical abilities
ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
minimum Level 3 Business qualification or relevant
