we are seeking a warm, patient, and culturally sensitive Receptionist/Admin
greet students, parents, and visitors with a welcoming and professional attitude
to join our team at Old Portsmouth College
handle student admissions, course bookings, and payments using our Customer Relationship Management system
the ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, tech-literate, and possess excellent communication and customer service skills
maintain and update student records in compliance with GDPR regulations
assist with general administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, organising meetings, and distributing internal communications
ensure the reception area is tidy, well-organised, and presentable at all times
Education
A-Level or equivalent
Requirements
previous experience in a similar receptionist or customer service role, ideally in a school or educational environment
experience with CRM software
understanding of safeguarding policies in educational settings
tech-literacy: Competent with standard office software and previous experience using a CRM system is highly desirable
excellent Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
customer Service: A friendly, empathetic, and caring approach to student and visitor interactions, ensuring all queries are handled efficiently and kindly
