Responsibility
- the Role
- full training will be given to the right person and the role allows considerable scope for advancement and progression
- development of concept designs through consultation with architects
- preparing accurate M&E designs, schematics and take offs
- we are looking to add a highly motivated individual in the role of Project Estimator or Trainee Estimator to provide design, estimating and technical support to our estimating department, working alongside our dedicated and experienced team to bid for, and deliver a variety of exciting projects
- liaising with internal and external customers to discuss design solutions
- ocmis cover a variety of projects and specialise in irrigation systems for landscape, golf courses and sports fields, as well as the design and build of large scale water features
- you’ll be working alongside a small friendly and dedicated team that provides high quality designs, detailed tender costings, cost effective design solutions, product and installation advice to architects, contractors and engineers
Requirements
- technical, practical and numerical aptitude
- commercial awareness
- A willingness to learn
- knowledge of Autocad or similar software would be beneficial
- strong communication skills and a consultative approach
- confidence to work independently alongside your team colleagues
- accuracy and attention to detail
