Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- following our cooks notes, prepare, cook and/or bake healthy and nutritious meals for school pupils and teaching staff
- using our software placing orders from our local suppliers, complete weekly stock-taking and recording meal numbers
- serve healthy lunches to pupils and teaching staff in a timely and efficient manner
- following our cooks notes, prepare, cook and/or bake healthy and nutritious meals, side dishes and desserts for school pupils and teaching staff
- assist and delegate with various tasks to support the smooth operation with lunch-time in schools and supporting the on-site catering team
- using our software placing orders from our local suppliers, complete weekly stock-taking, recording meal numbers and daily temperature recordings
Requirements
- previous experience in the catering industry is required, qualifications is preferred but, not essential
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- team-focused person with a desire to do their best work, every day
- chef: 2 years
- cooking: 2 years
- kitchen experience: 2 years
