Responsibility
- northumbria Students' Union is looking for an experienced Sales & Events Coordinator to drive Students' Union advertising in sales & events
- you will also be required to assist the Sales & Events manager in event set-up
- you will also be required to assist with enquiries and day to day administration as well as maintain existing relationships with clients and source new clients
- you will work directly with the Sales & Events Manager who is used to handling the booking process from sales enquiry, through negotiation and contracting, and to planning and executing the final event
- you will also work closely with the Marketing team to promote the Event Northumbria brand both locally and nationally, network with other venues and bookers within the city, and develop great working relationships with our existing and future clients ensuring their loyal repeat custom
- this role allows for innovation and would be ideal for someone looking to make the position their own. An opportunity to help lead our sales & events business from the front, whilst being supported by the Northumbria team
- 29. To undertake any reasonable duties as may be requested from time to time
- to advise the Senior Leadership Team and elected officers of new opportunities for developing new sales or alternative commercial revenue streams within the Students’ Union
