Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
- previous experience in the same or a similar role
- basic Hydraulic and Electrical knowledge
- fabrication and Welding experience
- class 1 or 2 LGV licence
Responsibility
- good knowledge of Health and Safety requirements including complying with risk assessments, permit to works, LOLER, COSHH
- inspection and M.O.T preparation to VOSO/DVSA standards
- record keeping and working to schedules
- carrying out servicing and repair to a fleet of vehicles including: skip wagons, RORO trucks, artic walking floors and flat-bed trailers
