Responsibility
- A role that is crucial to the delivery of service, standards and driving profitability at North Foreland golf Club
- run service and the kitchen on the days when the Head Chef is not present
- manage and motivate a team and look after the rota
- demonstrate knowledge of excellent kitchen management and make menu suggestions
- the 36-hole venue, situated on the picturesque Kent coast in Broadstairs, is looking to build on its recent success, which has seen a waiting list introduced and a growth in membership to more than 900, while maintaining the heritage and tradition which has made it so popular over the last 100 years since it was founded
- the Sous Chef will play a key role at the club ensuring both our members and visitors experience first-class dining. We have a thriving events business and clubhouse and looking for a Chef comfortable cooking for high numbers
- demonstrate knowledge of costing menu items, and working to a set GP
- ensure that the highest of standards of food quality, service and cleanliness are achieved
