• professional experience in ecological consultancy
• protected species survey licence
• BSc and or MSc in a relevant subject

• experience being the Named Ecologist on protected species mitigation licences
• full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle for business
• demonstrable competence using the Statutory Biodiversity Metric
• good understanding of the planning system, wildlife policy, and legislation
• member of CIEEM
• excellent report writing skills
• competent using QGIS
• self-motivated, able to work independently, and willing to work outside of normal hours
• to apply for the role, please submit a CV of no more than two sides of A4, and a covering
• within commuting distance to the office and ideally willing to attend the office at least 3
• letter of no more than one side of A4 summarising the key reasons why you are suitable for the
• days per week
