Responsibility
- assist the Nursery Manager in the overall management and operation of the nursery.Support and supervise nursery staff, ensuring they provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nursery's curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of each child.Collaborate with parents and guardians, building strong partnerships to support children's development and well-being.Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to regulatory requirements and internal policies.Assist in the recruitment, training, and performance management of nursery staff.Contribute to continuous improvement by actively participating in team meetings, training sessions, and implementing best practices.Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere, fostering a sense of belonging and respect for diversity among staff, children, and families
Requirements
- level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within an early years setting.Thorough knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and relevant legislation.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with staff, children, and parents.Excellent organizational and time management abilities.A passion for providing high-quality care and education to young children.Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to promoting the welfare of children.First Aid and Food Hygiene certifications
