Responsibility

- providing oral health education to patients
- we are looking for a trainee dental nurse to join our team to become part of a busy mixed practice undertaking both NHS and private dentistry

- ensuring that dental tools and instruments are sterilised appropriately
- the role involves training from the outset and an offer of the role after completion of the qualification, as we are looking for long-term team members
- taking radiographs and impressions of teeth and giving local anaesthetic under the Dentist’s supervision
- we are currently looking for either a part OR full time trainee to work at least two and a half or four and a half days which includes Saturday mornings
- applying temporary sealants and coatings to protect teeth
- the practice is fully digital and computerised and we undertake general and cosmetic dentistry alongside orthodontics, implants, oral surgery and facial aesthetics and every applicant taken on will experience all of these procedures during their training
- collecting dental and medical histories and maintaining health records of patients
- we have a team of over 25 people working from a single site and a dedicated staff floor away from the clinical area for your comfort and convenience
- working to a professional code of ethics and keeping up to date with recent developments within the industry
- we have an excellent team ethic and unity both at work professionally and outside socially and are looking for someone who can fit in seamlessly
- we are looking for a friendly and committed individual with experience in dealing with members of the public to complement our close knit team
- the role will involve mainly dental nursing but will also give opportunities to do some reception work, if interested in doing so

- previous experience working in a Dental practice as a treatment co-ordinator
