- toolmakers and Die Maintenance Technicians are mainly involved in the highly skilled, complex and specialist detailed work of manufacturing and maintaining the engineering tooling used to produce components, products, and assemblies
- to document and update die history and other work records
- undertake personal training to enhance skills necessary to perform key tasks
- to comply with any reasonable requests and duties as may be assigned by the Tool Room Supervisor and/or Manager from time to time
- total hours per week: 37 hours a week
- to ensure company targets are met in respect of delivery and quality of parts produced
Requirements
- GCSE or equivalent Maths essential
- communication skills
- GCSE or equivalent ICT desirable
- IT skills
- GCSE or equivalent Science desirable
