MOVIE MAKERS is looking for employees for positions:
health & safety officer
Responsibility
- deliver H&S Inductions to new employees and new contractors on site
- review, update and improve if necessary current H&S processes and procedures. This is for the head office site and on-site locations
- conduct regular site inspections and liaise and feedback to HODs
- ensure all legislative requirements are documented, reviewed and appropriate training is carried out
- investigate, record, and report any incident or accidents on site and report to senior management
- ensure Subcontractors competence and safety documentation is reviewed and accepted before any works begin
- maintain training records of all site personnel
- consulting with the HSE for site inspections or any legislative requirements such as notifications, accident/incident reporting etc. in consultation with Senior Management
Requirements
- experience in the transport industry would be advantageous
- third level qualification in Health and Safety and a technical Member of IOSH with ambition of progressing to chartered membership
- have at least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role. Willingness to show initiative and drive in addition to being a team player
