Responsibility
- we are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Full-Time Booker/Junior In-House Accountant
- our group of companies consists of a drinks distribution company, multiple restaurants, and a haulage business
- prepare and analyze monthly Profit and Loss statements for each business unit within the group of companies
- manage VAT returns, ensuring accurate and timely submission to regulatory authorities
- assist in the preparation of management accounts, providing financial insights and recommendations to senior management
- maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for all transactions
- collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards
- provide support in budgeting and forecasting processes

Requirements
- bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or equivalent
- minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles
- strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations
- proficient in using accounting software and tools
- excellent attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data accurately
- strong analytical skills to interpret financial statements and reports
- good understanding of VAT regulations and experience with VAT returns
- ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
