Responsibility
- manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department, including scheduling, staffing, training, and ordering
- ensure that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards
- maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies, equipment, and linens
- manage and resolve queries, comments and complaints related to housekeeping services
- maintain health and safety standards within all areas of responsibility
- monitor and manage departmental expenses to ensure that budgets are met
- maintain positive relationships with other departments, including front of house and maintenance
- develop and maintain departmental policies and procedures
Requirements
- previous experience in a housekeeping or hotel management role
- strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- housekeeping: 1 year
- time Management: The ability to prioritize their tasks and complete them within a given timeframe is essential
