Responsibility
- maintain accurate and complete financial records for the company
- reconcile accounts and prepare monthly financial statements
- prepare and file tax returns

- manage accounts receivable and collections
- perform bank reconciliations
- prepare reports for management as needed
- processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software or databases then filing hard copies
- preparing financial statements showing business income and expenditure
- paying supplier invoices and tracking bank account balances
- completing VAT returns
- verifying the accuracy of business accounts and alerting the Accountant of errors
- recording any inconsistencies to help the Accountants reconcile inaccuracies
- developing financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheets
- helping the Accountant with administrative duties and preparing yearly accounts
- preparing employee wages
Requirements
- bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred
- strong technical accounting skills
- experience with account reconciliation and analysis
