we are seeking an innovative and aspirational, Residential Children's Home Manager, to lead and manage our new Children's home in Liverpool
your role is pivotal in delivering high-quality care and support that meets each child's needs, promoting their well-being, development, and empowerment
we will be providing respite support and not long term residential placements, and your role will be key to this
we are an exciting and forward thinking organisation who has supported children and young people with disabilities and complex needs for a number of years; and we are now opening our first residential home - and we are seeking a Registered Manager to join us in this exciting journey
your primary responsibility is to oversee the effective operation and opening and management of our residential children’s home, prioritising the needs of vulnerable children and young people with complex needs
you will ensure that the home operates in compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and best practice guidelines, focusing on providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for all children
the successful candidate will be at the forefront of the opening of our residential home, and will therefore have autonomy and leadership of many key decisions and best practice for its operation
Requirements
demonstrate commitment to continuing professional development
level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services; or equivalent; or preparedness to work towards the same
management Experience: Proven leadership in managing residential children's homes, including staff management and service delivery
safeguarding Expertise: Extensive knowledge and experience in safeguarding children and young people, ensuring compliance with regulations
person-Centred Care: Ability to develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to the needs of residents
team Leadership: Strong skills in team management, fostering a positive team culture, and promoting professional development
partnership Working: Ability to collaborate effectively with external agencies, professionals, and stakeholders
