Responsibility
- delivering secure systems and data services across the Organisations ICT estate
- design and introduce automatic security checks to replace manual interventions Own the internal security testing of all systems and web sites
- providing advice and membership of project boards delivering new ICT/data systems
- responsible for the introduction and upkeep of secure systems and data, including data access and access control Ensure proper documentation and end user training to use systems in a secure way including assisting with policy development
- ensure that all new systems and initiatives are delivered in a secure way and that plans are drawn up for the ongoing security management of these systems
- develop and maintain operational procedures to ensure system and data are secure and to carry out these procedures on a regular basis
- using automated monitoring and fixing deliver and manage a suite of security checks to ensure continued security and compliance. Ensure that all staff and volunteers are aware of how to properly interact with systems and data
Requirements
- end to end security management and administration within a Windows Azure/Cloud Hybrid environment
- system design, build and implementation with a particular onus on security
- end user documentation and training
- policy development and implementation of associated procedures
- A proven track record of success in delivering high quality results to deadlines
- in depth knowledge of security principles
- ability to support backend Microsoft systems to the 3rd level
- strong troubleshooting skills
