warehouse supervisor
Responsibility
- lead, motivate, and manage a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring efficient daily operations
- schedule shifts, assign tasks, and monitor performance, providing training and development opportunities
- foster a culture of accuracy, attention to detail, and teamwork
- oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of jewellery items
- maintain accurate inventory records, conducting regular audits to prevent discrepancies
- implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure all products meet company standards before dispatch
- develop and refine standard operating procedures to optimize warehouse operations
- utilize warehouse management software to track inventory and manage workflow
Requirements
- previous experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or logistics environment, ideally within the jewellery or luxury goods industry
- strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations
- excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- prior experience with the Peoplevox warehouse management system / Shopify e-commerce platform is desirable
- forklift license would be a bonus
