Responsibility

  • preparation of monthly Management Accounts including journal postings, monthly reports, and reconciliations of key accounts
  • support ongoing budgets and monthly forecasting processes
  • manage and develop a small Finance team
  • maintain financial controls throughout the business, recommending improvements and ensuring financial risk is minimised
  • assisting in liaising with external advisors
  • ’Develop all necessary policies to ensure sound financial management and control across the businesses
  • managing the day to day financial and banking operations through Xero including but not limited to
  • train and develop the accounts team, manging performance in line with company policy

Requirements

  • tenacious, motivated and driven self starter
  • prior leadership experience in Accounts or Administrative team/function with ability to be pro-active, self-motivating and be able to prioritise workload
  • treats every resource/ penny as their own and speaks out when something's not right
  • ability to analyse and interpret financial data with an eye for detail and dedication to accuracy
  • self aware and has a strong focus on own and teams development
  • knows and takes accountability for their area and is focused on delivering results
  • knowledge of Xero preferred but not essential
  • adapts to and embraces change, effectively relaying it down throughout their team through effective communication and engagement

Responsibility

  • ensure orders placed are followed through to delivery, any discounts agreed are implemented, this includes ensuring all products are listed and purchase orders are created ready for physical goods to be processed
  • contribute new ideas to the marketing team to drive sales

warehouse manager

Requirements

  • class 2 Driving Licence
  • fork lift Licence
  • telehandler License would be an advantage
  • basic Computer skills-full training will be provided

supervisor

Responsibility

  • you will be responsible for achieving KPI's, and ensuring the store provides excellent customer service, through product knowledge, and staff training
  • your role will also include being hands on, serving customers at the till, unpacking deliveries and general house keeping
  • you should have a keen interest in all aspects of the store including Equine, Pets, Farming, Small Holding, Clothing and Footwear
  • previous retail/management experience would be preferred but not essential
  • we are looking for an enthusiastic, sales focused individual who is capable of working on their own initiative, along with supporting the Store Manager, as part of the Management team
  • you must be flexible with hours, as the rotas change weekly and be available to work weekends as well as throughout the week
