Requirements
- A strong track record of delivering excellent customer service
- big box retail store management experience, ideally within the grocery market
- possesses excellent management skills in order to organise and deliver a consistently high standard service
- excellent communication and people management skills
- minimum of 1 year proven retail management experience within the FMCG sector
- strong financial acumen
- organised and considered approach to problem solving
- ability to anticipate other people’s needs
Responsibility
- to undertake any other duties deemed relevant to the role and as directed by the Territory Manager
- ensure that all emergency incidents and operational problems are dealt with effectively including the contacting of the appropriate people when necessary
- to ensure sales revenue targets are achieved
- ensure new promotions are implemented in accordance with Retail Management guidance
- purchasing and managing all consumables with adherence to the FIFO standards
- ensure store achieves and maintain all agreed set of KPI- Audit, stock take, cash loss, procedural compliance and wage cost
- work with Operation Managers to implement sales improvement actions identified through performance analysis and MIS
- ensure stock is at optimal levels
