Working hours
- full-time | Part-time
Responsibility
- experience within Children's Homes preferred, but not essential as all training is provided
- all shifts include a sleep in , staff work from 10am to 11pm then sleep in then 7am to 10.30am
- candidate's must be over 21 years
- drivers preferred
- part time and bank workers required for 2 bedded children's homes in the BD4 area. The homes caters for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties, aged between 11 years and 18 years old
- we require enthusiastic candidates with a 'can do' attitude that are willing to be an important role model in our young people's lives
- we want candidates to be aspirational with our young people and assist and support the young people to reach their own goals and improve their life chances
- we would like to hear from people who are diverse , dynamic, creative , honest , reliable and committed to the role
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
- the ability to maintain confidentiality of young people and the organisation information is also important
- to actively promote the rights of young people as individuals and provide them with quality care in accordance with the policies and procedures of the organisation
- residential Childcare: 1 year
- support Environment: 1 year
- to assist in the provision of a safe and homely environment both individually and as part of a team to help young people achieve their potential by strengthening areas of weakness and developing areas of strength
- this will entail the ability to work within Equal Opportunities and Quality Assurance framework and may include undertaking delegated responsibilities for designated tasks
