Responsibility
- merlin Timber Frame Limited are a family run timber frame building manufacturer based in North Herefordshire
- we aim to build off site constructed timber frame buildings to the highest standards
- we build timber frame solutions for a large variety of projects from individual new builds, extensions, construction sites comprising of up to 50 units, apartment blocks, educational facilities and modular units
- the business comprises a close-knit team and we are now looking for a friendly, hardworking individual with the right drive and attitude to fill our next vacancy
- any applicant will be a confident individual who can communicate effectively and efficiently with suppliers, contractors, existing clients as well as new contacts
- procurement and negotiation of materials, sub/contractors, and equipment
- working closely with the design and sales director, contracts manager and operations director
- attending and contributing to tender meetings
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
- must have Valid work authorisation within the UK
- previous experience required - Minimum 1-2 years
- experience within the construction industry, and in particular timber frame/off site construction/manufacturing sector, preferable, but not essential
- excellent numerical, analytical and IT skills
- excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
- confidentiality
- attention to detail is imperative
- estimating: 1 year
