Responsibility
- assist with the preparation of comprehensive cost estimates, ensuring our proposals are competitive and compelling
- analyze drawings, proposals, and other documentation to prepare cost estimates
- work closely with our sales and customer service teams to present and negotiate project cost estimates
- develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
- use excellent communication and negotiation skills to win contracts
- collaborate with project managers, engineers, and vendors to understand project specifications and requirements
- assist in maintaining a comprehensive cost estimating database
- support other administrative and project management tasks as required
Requirements
- previous sales or customer service experience is a plus
- strong mathematical and IT skills
- familiarity with estimating software is an advantage
- outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- detail-oriented and capable of solving problems efficiently
- team player with a proven commitment to meeting deadlines
- surveying: 1 year
