Responsibility
- manage day-to-day logistics operations, including planning, routing, and coordinating deliveries to ensure on-time performance
- liaise with drivers, couriers, and operations teams to optimize routes and improve service levels
- oversee and monitor vehicle maintenance schedules, ensuring all fleet vehicles are roadworthy and compliant with regulations
- develop, implement, and manage delivery processes and procedures to ensure smooth operations and cost efficiency
- collaborate with external partners, clients, and suppliers to enhance service quality and maintain strong relationships
- review, develop, and implement stock control and dispatch policies to maximize resource utilization and minimize wastage
- analyse logistics data and prepare performance reports, offering insights to improve future delivery operations
- ensure the company adheres to safety and compliance regulations across all delivery operations
Requirements
- minimum of 3 years' experience in logistics management, ideally within a courier or delivery environment
- strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop a team
- excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on operational excellence
- proficient in logistics management software and MS Office suite
- knowledge of safety, transport regulations, and compliance standards
- ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines
- strong communication and stakeholder management skills
