- assisting clients with applications for Tree Preservation Orders and advising on tree-related regulations within conservation areas
- this involves evaluating the significance of trees, preparing documentation, and liaising with local authorities to ensure compliance with legal requirements
- assisting with and or developing comprehensive tree management plans for clients, which outline strategies for tree maintenance, preservation, and long-term care
- these plans may include recommendations for pruning, tree removal, planting, and species selection based on site-specific conditions and client objectives
- opportunities to contribute to Maydencroft’s Greenskills Training Academy
- assisting with the completion of detailed surveys and assessments of trees, which may involve examining tree health, stability, structural integrity, and risk assessment
- writing case studies
Requirements
- minimum Level 2 Arboricultural qualification and/or significant experience working in arboriculture
- lantra Basic and/or Intermediate Tree Inspector qualification with willingness to achieve the Professional Tree Inspection qualification within 6 months
- lantra Professional Tree Inspector qualification
- excellent verbal communication skills and able to deal directly with clients where required
- experience undertaking Tree Safety Inspections
- confident project management skills and the ability to manage own time and schedules
- experience undertaking BS5837 surveys and detailed tree condition reports
- tree Climbing & Aerial Tree Rescue qualification
