Responsibility
- to form caring relationships and to respect the client’s dignity and rights at all times
- to encourage participation in all aspects of the service, including the organisation of individual and group activities
- to assist users of the service in claiming welfare benefits, as appropriate, and seek to maximise funding
- to assist in keeping the accommodation in good condition and to promote a reasonable standard of domestic management
- to promote advice on housing needs and rights and assist service users when moving, if appropriate
- maintaining proper written documentation relating to service users and project records e.g. petty cash in accordance with Mavam Supported Housing practice
- to offer support with self care in a sensitive manner, offering advice as appropriate
- to submit accurate claim and record forms as required by the appropriate deadlines e.g. monthly timesheets and mileage forms
