Responsibility
- masons of Yorkshire Ltd is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Trainee Accounts Clerk
- manage the day-to-day banking facilities within the business, carrying out daily reconciliations which includes invoice discounting
- the ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with a strong work ethic, self-motivated, and willing to learn
- this position will oversee the company purchase and sales ledgers, all banking facilities, ensuring correct and accurate reconciliation
- manage and Process W5 duty calculations, submission and payment to HMRC
- correctly post sales invoices, reconcile receipts and customer accounts. Manage customer credit limits on the company credit insurance portal
- reconcile large website Paypal and Stripe receipts on customer account
- correctly post purchase invoices, reconcile payments and supplier accounts
Requirements
- well organised and able to multi task
- has excellent attention to detail
- strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- ability to use own initiative and take a pragmatic approach to problem solving
