- we are looking for a compassionate and creative Activities Coordinator to join our team at Steeton Court Nursing Home
- plan and implement a variety of activities that meet the needs of the residents
- the ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a commitment to providing quality care
- coordinate with other staff members to ensure that activities are safe and appropriate
- assist residents to and from activities
- document activities and resident participation
- maintain activity supplies and equipment
- work with residents and families to develop individualized activity plans
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
- experience planning and implementing activities
- strong organizational and time management skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- ability to work with a variety of people, including those with dementia and other disabilities
- ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
