Responsibility
- financial Controller
- responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate posting of cashbook transactions for all Trust bank accounts and school petty cash accounts
- reconciliation of monthly Trust credit card statements
- responsible for the Trust’s sales and purchase ledgers and the chasing of any aged balances
- ensure supplier statements agree to the Trust’s purchase ledger
- responsible for new supplier checks and new supplier setup
- support the Financial Controller with supplier payment runs as required
- assist finance assistants with any transactional queries
Requirements
- adhere to policies and procedures, including Equality and Diversity and Health and Safety
- undertake appropriate training and development as required
- participate in the Performance Review Cycle
- demonstrate excellent Customer Care in dealing with all customers
- ensure positive effective working relationships with the school teams, stakeholders and partners
- respect confidentiality: all confidential information should be kept in confidence and not released to unauthorised persons
