site engineer
Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- assist Site Engineers with preparing site work
- receive and unpack deliveries, ensuring all items are accounted for and stored correctly
- support Site Engineers to install septic tanks and other wastewater treatment systems, including excavation and backfilling
- maintain stock levels and perform regular stock taking to ensure accuracy
- operate machinery, tools and equipment , in line with training
- ensure an organised and clean workshop is maintained
- ad-hoc attendance to site to carry out percolation tests, or resolve problems
- we are a market leader in the off mains drainage industry that manufactures, installs and maintains a range of water treatment plants and drainage systems for domestic and commercial properties
Requirements
- full UK Driving License
- A willingness to travel is essential as the role will involve driving across the East Anglia Region, and often further afield
- experience of operating power and hand tools
- good knowledge of health and safety practices
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- time management skills
- willingness to work outside of regular business hours, if required
- experience of operating machinery - full training will be provided
