Responsibility
- we are looking to add an experienced Product Design Engineer, in joinery and furniture, to join our growing team
- makeByDesign is a bespoke joinery manufacturer based in Yate, Bristol, specialising in bespoke fitted furniture such as bars, counters, fixed seating, tea points and receptions for the commercial construction industry
- with a healthy order book and growing demand, we are looking for another permanent, full-time member of staff with experience in a similar area of industry
- the ideal candidate will preferably have experience in Joinery manufacturing predominantly working with the Solidworks CAD programme where a minimum of 3-4 years experience is required. A healthy understanding of Autocad is also preferable
Requirements
- based in Bristol or surrounding areas
- experience in a similar environment
- solidworks user with at least 3-4 years of experience
- experience with a retail shopfitting environment is preferred although similar applicable areas of the industry will also be considered
- able to understand and interpret engineering drawings
- experience and knowledge in a range of materials and applications
- knowledge of the Solidworks SWOOD Add-in preferred but not essential
- knowledge of industrial CNC machining is preferred
