- cleaning and preparing kennels and the grass runs
- exercising dogs off lead in a secure grass run and walking the dogs on the lead in the local countryside
- preparing meals and feeding
- supervising other kennel workers
- creating work schedules
- we are looking for an experienced, reliable and dedicated manager to run a boarding kennel working within our small, friendly team. Experience running a boarding kennels is preferable, though not essential if you have other relevant experience
- enforcing kennel policies and procedures
Requirements
- passion in caring for dogs and their welfare is essential
- confidence when interacting with dogs of all sizes and breeds
- working efficiently as a member of our small team and with the initiative to work alone as needed
- good time management and organisational skills are essential
- maintaining good customer relations, providing a friendly and professional service
- the ability to work under pressure
- previous experience in animal care is preferred
- due to our location your own transport is essential
