Responsibility
- perform mechanical installation on a range of classic vehicles, including chassis, EV power unit installation, suspension, and braking
- crimping and termination of HV cables into vehicle devices
- inspect, diagnose, and repair HV components, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and best practices
- assemble and install trim, interior components, and other vehicle accessories
- maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent
- adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
- collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects
- diagnose and repair electrical systems, including traditional wiring as well as modern HV systems in classic conversions or contemporary vehicles within the business
Requirements
- proven experience as an Automotive Technician, some experience with classic vehicles would be beneficial
- strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, particularly with electrical and HV systems
- proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools
- ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals
- excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- passion for classic cars and automotive history
