- basic knowledge of design techniques and textile properties
- ability to read and interpret design files and work orders
- strong attention to detail and a keen eye for color matching
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibility
- load and unload fabrics and threads into the machines
- monitor machine operation to detect problems such as defective stitching, breaks in thread, or machine malfunctions
- select the appropriate color and type of thread to be used based on the design specifications
- lucy & Lola, a renowned pet portrait embroidery business, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Embroidery Machine Operator to join our dynamic and creative team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating embroidery machines
- adjust machine settings such as speed, fabric tension, and needle positions to ensure optimal results
- this role requires a combination of technical and creative skills to ensure the production of high-quality, detailed embroidered pet portraits, fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently
- trim excess threads and rectify any defects in the embroidered product
- maintain consistent quality and productivity levels
