Responsibility
- maintaining existing recipes and concepts, but bringing some new ideas to the table
- produce a selection of Hot and Cold Desserts to be served at Lucy’s on a plate
- to be responsible for stock levels and monitoring waste, production etc
Show more +8 - undertake the production of desserts/cakes, etc. as required for Outside Catering
- understand and produce Gluten Free products as required and instructed
- adhere to company procedures with regard to Hygiene, Health and Safety
- they will be required to produce items of a high standard, be well time managed and able to organize orders, workload, stock rotation etc
- complete appropriate paperwork in relation to the above
- within reason, adhering to procedures and policies
- we are looking for a good baker, not necessarily a formally trained chef, who has an understanding of ‘British Baking’ … the type of things we produce at Lucy’s are essentially delicious desserts and proper puddings – quintessentially British, with a touch of the World thrown in! The successful applicant will be self motivated and able to work independently within the bakery kitchen
- follow recipes accurately and efficiently – but with the ability to be creative at times
