Requirements
- work experience in a similar senior level position
- master’s degree qualification in Construction / Estates/Facilities / Engineering or equivalent
- substantial track record of delivering complex change in a senior leadership role
- proven leadership skills with an ability to make tough decisions and is openly optimistic about achievement of goals
- significant experience in developing business cases and managing and delivering complex major capital projects
- advanced project management skills/experience with a track record of delivering agreed projects to time, cost and quality
- extensive professional experience of developing organisational policy and operational plans and proposals
- proven work record of successfully managing risk to consistently achieve high standards and comply with statutory & mandatory requirements
Responsibility
- accountable for managing the budget, capital expenditure projects, preventative maintenance and energy conservation
- responsible for maintaining standards and regulatory requirements and lead the emergency response team for all facility issues
- provide a high level of property maintenance knowledge. Position has overall responsibility for maintaining the building, grounds and physical plant with particular attention towards safety, security and asset protection
