Requirements

  • work experience in a similar senior level position
  • master’s degree qualification in Construction / Estates/Facilities / Engineering or equivalent
  • substantial track record of delivering complex change in a senior leadership role
  • proven leadership skills with an ability to make tough decisions and is openly optimistic about achievement of goals
  • significant experience in developing business cases and managing and delivering complex major capital projects
  • advanced project management skills/experience with a track record of delivering agreed projects to time, cost and quality
  • extensive professional experience of developing organisational policy and operational plans and proposals
  • proven work record of successfully managing risk to consistently achieve high standards and comply with statutory & mandatory requirements

Responsibility

  • accountable for managing the budget, capital expenditure projects, preventative maintenance and energy conservation
  • responsible for maintaining standards and regulatory requirements and lead the emergency response team for all facility issues
  • provide a high level of property maintenance knowledge. Position has overall responsibility for maintaining the building, grounds and physical plant with particular attention towards safety, security and asset protection
