Responsibility
- the post holder will provide a reassuring visible presence with a caring and sensitive approach
- security staff will be compassionate, courteous and patient, acting without fear, favour or prejudice to the rights of others
- to respond immediately in Pears Institute for all calls for security assistance
- to respond to intruder alarms, inspect for signs of break-in, search for suspects, and liaise with the Police as appropriate
- ensure compliance with all areas of statutory requirements, including Data Protection Act
- will protect, advise, investigate and act in an endeavour to create and maintain a safe and crime free environment at all times
- you will deliver a holistic multi skilled service, including manned guarding, patrolling, key management, incident and alarm response, reception and concierge service all the time protecting guests, visitors, staff to the Pears Institute and its contents
- provide a visible presence at main reception, undertaking main reception duties as and when required
