Responsibility
- deliver lessons that are appropriate to the level and needs of the students and maintain learner interest
- evaluate student’s progress, offering regular feedback and disseminating reports
- manage resources appropriately and effectively to facilitate learning
- show sensitivity to the group and to individuals to ensure a positive learning atmosphere
- when online, assist students with technical difficulties where possible
- attend an initial induction session and subsequent weekly meetings, staff training sessions, observation feedback sessions
- maintain an ordered and tidy teaching space
- complete required admin: weekly aims, daily record of work, class register
Requirements
- A recognised teaching qualification such as CELTA , TESOL or equivalent
- university degree or equivalent
- portable DBS certificate
- native or near-native competency in English
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A good level of computer literacy
- previous teaching experience would be advantageous
- teaching: 1 year
