- effectively manage the day to day warehouse and transport function
- introduce, develop and review operational processes to improve efficiency and delivery of service
- support the development of the operational team through training, coaching and review
- ensure cost control is maintained in-line with budgets and targets
- use KPIs to measure, drive and improve operational performance on a weekly basis
Requirements
- 2 years’ experience managing a warehouse team in a distribution environment
- experience of building high performing teams
- knowledge of health and safety practices and legislation
- knowledge of transport practices and legislation
- ability to communicate at senior level
- driving license
