- full-time
Responsibility
- working with buyer in setting and delivering the strategy for Ladieswear
- negotiating cost prices with supplier base to achieve department targets
- working with team to manage and drive the ladieswear critical path - from product development through to shipments
- management of BAA
- analysing weekly trade report and identifying actions
- regular comp shops to identify new and missed opportunities in the range
- to actively participate in meetings including sign offs, strategies, weekly trade
- managing own areas/departments within ladieswear with the support of Buyer - these areas can be decided
Requirements
- relevant buying experience in the fashion industry to a similar level
- great communication skills - you will be co ordinating teams such as Merchandising, Design, QC, Studio
- commercially aware - how to interpret and adapt market trends to the customer to maximise sales
- keen interest in fashion and trends
- ability to work independently to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
- strong numeracy and analytical skills
- driven with a strong sense of initiative
