Requirements
- IBD General Certificate in Brewing and Distilling
- forklift Licence
- experience: Previous experience in a distillery environment preferred, but not essential
Responsibility
- maintenance of Equipment: Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of distillation equipment, fermenters, and other production machinery to prevent any contamination or faults
- distillation Process: Operate and monitor the distillation equipment, ensuring that it is running efficiently and safely and to the instructions during all stages of production, including mashing, fermentation, distillation, and maturation
- barrel Handling & Maturation: Fill and manage barrels during the whisky maturation process, ensuring proper storage, inventory, and monitoring of the whisky’s aging process
