LOCAL CAR AND VAN RENTAL is looking for employees for positions:

- managing inbound queries via email, from internal branches and external customers

- we are recruiting for Back Office Administrators to join our team based at our Head Office in Marsh Barton, Exeter
- to be eligible for this course you must be over the age of 19
- to oversee the smooth running of the rental branch
- ensure all reservations, bookings and enquiries are handled promptly and efficiently
- to meet and exceed customer requirements
- ensure all service level agreements are met
- manage the damage process and ensure staff are fully trained on the process
- identify sales opportunities and motivate the branch team in upselling
- project an upbeat and professional persona at all times
- strong managerial skills and previous experience of leading a team
- experience of meeting and exceeding key performance indicators
- experience of providing exceptional customer service
- ability to build strong and positive relationships with employees, clients and customers

- you must have held a full driving licence for a minimum of 12 months to be considered for this position

- to delegate all tasks and liaise with branch manager daily
- to travel to multiple locations, across the London and South East area, to cover when required
- opening and closing rental agreements

- ensure all Company procedures are followed including damage notification and recover
- held a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months
- have worked in a customer facing role before

- have experience working in a customer facing role, for at least 12 months
- driving licence is essential
- knowledge of the vehicle hire industry would be beneficial but not essential
- excellent customer service skills
- excellent communication and relationship building skills
- preparing estimates for vehicle repair and authorising the repair with approved sub-contractors
- preparing estimates for 3rd party insurers
- compiling estimates for the Company insurance dept. as required
- progress chase collections, estimates and repairs in progress
- negotiate & authorise repairs
- estimated completion date updates / cost revision
- working in line with the subcontract bodyshop policy / procedure updates / service level agreements
- liaise with external suppliers and internal departments as necessary to ensure a smooth operation
- experience working as an Estimator or Vehicle Damage Assessor, as this role will be out based
- excellent customer service skills
- thrifty Car and Van Rental are recruiting for an Estimator in the South-East
- proficient in use in using computer systems
- either based in one of our branches around London or Birmingham
- experience gained within Automotive Accident Repair or equivalent
- this role will include travelling around our network, mainly the Midlands, the North and London
- you will be visiting repair facilities to assess and agree repairs and costs
