Responsibility

• act as line manager to shift supervisors and associated Machine Operatives
• manage routine employee matters including performance management, absence, disciplinary and grievance matters, with the support of HR
• drive adherence to H & S, Quality and housekeeping standards across the factory and yard

• writing, updating and delivering training of relevant SOPs and SSOWs may be required from time to time
• identify areas for improving production Drive for continuous improvement
• manage the day-to-day operations of the factory and yard. Ensuring that all manufacturing, production and picking requirements plus any associated activities are completed on time, meeting customer expectations
• work closely with other departments to ensure that all work undertaken in the factory is completed in accordance with standard operating procedures, relevant safe systems of work are adhered to
• communicate effectively to ensure the co-ordination of all relevant inputs to ensure production output and on time delivery targets are achieved, i.e. through daily briefings, weekly/monthly meetings etc

Responsibility

• general admin duties relating to order, delivery and invoicing of beams &/or polystyrene panels
• resolving queries and complaints in a prompt and professional manner
• accurate data input relating to orders, delivery and invoicing, ensuring information is ‘right first time’, thereby minimising invoicing issues

• liaising with suppliers and customers regarding order and delivery
• the successful candidate will work as part of the on-site team to assist with the smooth running of various office departments, in particular our Transport team
• assisting other departments with administrative support when required
