Responsibility
- reviewing and improving the day-to-day accounting processes
- reconciling monthly all balance sheet components, calculating prepayments & accruals, and posting the monthly journals to produce the trial balance
- producing, and improving, the monthly management accounting pack
- overseeing the timely delivery of weekly financial KPI information as required
- undertaking ad-hoc analysis and reporting as required
- leading and supporting the finance function at each site and if so required assisting in the day to day accounting entries for the cashbook, petty cash, sales ledger, purchase ledger and payroll
- provide support for the annual audit process
- provide information and analysis for any business planning, budgeting and forecasting process
Requirements
- applicants with prior experience within a care organisation will be prioritised
- the ideal candidate for this role will be a qualified accountant , although part-qualified applicants will also be considered
